Design Description

The inspiration for this simple color style evolved from a deep understanding of the homeowner. People are protagonists in their own space, so the characteristics of those spaces are often closely integrated with human traits. Here, a customized, multi-level color palette with low saturation is used to add great value to a fashionable, comfortable environment.

A stylish, quiet gray guides the atmosphere of the overall space, forming a calm and restrained atmosphere; sunlight falls softly on every corner of the room. People serve as focal points for attention, while transitions between light and dark shades of color continually attract one’s eyes. In life, extraordinary things happen in the midst of simplicity.

By designing the small space using design concepts from large homes, this room takes advantage of high ceilings and the spatial continuity in order to extend the visual scale. In large storage areas, one’s sight can linger over soft lines, thus creating the illusion of expansion in these rooms. Using calm and relaxed tones of gray as the base, blocks of color create definition, while tonal contrasts increase the number of visual levels within the space. Soft lights are used to reconcile these levels and maintain spatial integrity, thus establishing a sense of quality and refinement.

Software representation now plays a crucial role in finishing touches, and subtle changes have created balance within the design. Creative thinking regarding the atmosphere of this simple space has allowed the design to more closely suit the users by reflecting their unique taste and personality, thereby creating a unique and thought-provoking spatial experience for the owners.
