Guru interior design and engineering company was founded in 2005.
We pay attention to exclusive and unique value of space, carefully explore the personal characteristics of residents and life charm, through creative quality to translation and planning, 「Function with the shape、Interpretation of life」, become a unique style of design.
Concept
Since its creation, Guru Interior Design has undertaken interior design projects in residential, commercial,and office spaces, and clubhouse showrooms,among others.
By upholding the spirit of original design, and pursuing a high standard of style and taste, we have strived to achieve our clients’expectations of their space through the perfect presentation of diverse design styles.
We place a special emphasis on the relationship between people and space.
Our unique designs are realized through the perspectives of lifestyle and spatial art, which are combined with rational spatial planning to shape the essence of space.
We create distinctive spatial fields based on the aesthetics of space, and derive the perfect implementation of our clients’lifestyle and ideal residence from the vocabulary of design.
Our goal is to enhance the aesthetics of residential space, and strive to establish a professional brand of interior design.
Designer
With over 23 years of interior design experience, Kuo-Lun Yu, the director of Guru Design Consultant has always persisted in the notion of uncovering what he refers to as ‘the unique aesthetic DNA’ of his clients. He strives to achieve an artistic approach to design that incorporates the clients wants and needs whilst maintaining high levels of originality and creativity.

Service Process
- Preliminary communication of requirements, location, floor area, and budge via telephone
- Initial discussion to understand style preferences, introduction of successful cases, and estimation of the on-site measurement time
- Designing and brainstorming according to the site, and discussion of preliminary floor plan sketches and style proposals
- Confirmation of plans, correction and finalization of floor plans, preliminary budget communication, and signing of design contract
- Proposal of 3D draft, and discussion of main building materials
- Finalization of 3D images, and creation of construction drawings
- Detailed estimation of complete project budge quotations, and confirmation of project contract and construction date
- The designer will supervise the progress of the project and give regular updates
- The designer will be present during the entire inspection and delivery of the site, and will conduct detailed inspection according to the design plans
- Complete construction drawings and intricate 3D images; material and construction specifications; and project implementation according to construction plans. These will enable you to understand accurately the project items and quality.
- Straightforward, reasonable, and genuine project pricing. There is absolutely no nominal addition of unexpected budgets. Any project additions can only be added after obtaining the client’s approval and signature. This will enable you to have an accurate grasp of the project budget.
- One-year warranty and continued after-sales service
Standard Charges
- Site Measurements: based on the distance of each case
- Initial consultation & Space Planning: free
- Conceptual Design: NTD 9,000 per ping (If the project is accepted, a discount of NTD 2,000 per ping is given on the design fees.)
- New Residential Construction from NTD 90,000–150,000 per ping (price could be adjusted according to style and building materials)
- Home Renovation– from NTD 90,000–150,000 per ping (price could be adjusted according to the house condition, style and building materials)
- Retail Space – cost depends on the style and materials.
- Supervision fee is 8%–10% of the total project costs.
/ Special Items
- Calculation of the floor area for the design fee is based on the actual area of interior design implementation.
- Project budgets based on NTD/ping will depend on the actual items implemented for each case.
- Before signing the contract,the company will not provide any design drawings for the client’s records.We hope for your understanding.
